Welcome to the Atlantic Rowing Team Tenerife boat Martha Dos

2nd Atlantic row for the Boat Martha Dos with a new Team

Peter Raab and Tim Wilks will row from the Port of  Puerto Colon, Canary Islands to  Antigua West Indies. The distance from start to finish line is 2937 nautical miles.  Boats from all over the World attempt to beat the rowing record of 40 days and 5 hrs at sea. Our boat is 7.1 metres long and is made of plywood and epoxy glued being specially built for ocean rowing.  The boat is powered by 4 Oars and a strong will to survive  the cruel  Atlantic swells.   A water maker , solar panels and freeze dried food will help keep us alive whilst  rowing in 3 hrs shifts.
