Business Description:	Located to the north of the Island, in the municipality of San Cristobal de la Laguna, the airport is just 10 kilometres from the capital (Santa Cruz de Tenerife). Traffic is mainly of the scheduled domestic nature, with over 50 per cent of these domesting flights being connecting flights to the other islands in the archipelago: Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, El Hierro and La Gomera. In addition, there are scheduled domestic flights to other airports in the rest of Spain, such as Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona, Seville and Bilbao. In 2006 the airport handled 4,025,601 passengers, 65,295 operations and 23,l81 tonnes of cargo.
