to the K9 Animal Refuge Tenerife Website.... Our aim is to make Tenerife a happier place for animals to live.



We currently do this by rescuing injured, sick, ill-treated and abandoned cats and dogs, taking them into our custom-built kennels and giving them all the necessary vetinary care, love and attention they need to recover from the often brutal treatment they have previously received.



We run extensive re-homing and neutering programs to try and combat the need for our intervention.



We are a purely voluntary organisation and rely solely on donations from the public and volunteers to help with looking after the animals and fundraising.



We receive no official funding and are extremely grateful for any donations we receive.



At the moment we are in temporary kennels where we can house around 70 dogs. We are currently in the process of building a larger and more efficient refuge but desperately need funds to complete this project.

If you prefer not to donate money, we will accept any donations other items that we can sell in our car boot sales and sell via auctions, however we ask that you contact us with information of the donation first, so we can organise how best to handle it.
