BPBC Whats it all about?

In all modern day business environments we can find help groups, support groups and Business Chambers. They are available for any individuals to seek help from, and advice which may steer them into the business world.

I have attended and been involved with many chambers of commerce throughout the UK, and Business Start up groups helping people make the right decisions.

 

 

Tenerife is such a great place to live, but to do business can be very hard. Who can we ask for help and advice, with out them holding out a sweaty palm? And most of those sweaty palms are held out by nothing more than fortune tellers of the past. Finding local resources can be such hard work, breaking into new markets a daunting task.

But why, why should it be any harder than the UK or other countries of the modern day world. It's smaller, its less demanding, people are more laid back, so why should the business world be difficult to get to grasps with.

 

 

The answer to many of these questions is simple, there is no where we can go and get the straight answers. Oh yes, there are many people claiming they can help for a fee, even offering to conjure up some papers for you, that you never really needed. And all of this mounts to a very sore bill at the end of their "services". I believe its time to change, its time to rid the island of these unskilled business operatives and make a stand. Its time for the new business generation of Tenerife, to be heard, to be seen and be counted.

 

 

Business Pages Tenerife is now developing the first Business Chamber for the Island, next to the Chamber of Commerce in the North. We aim to build a chamber where local businesses can Network, find the information they need, and give/receive helpful advice.

 

 

The second Networking event took place on the 10th July, and was again a great success.

People are beginning to see how powerful it can be, and so cost effective. The birth of the business chamber has begun, and slowly we will encourage a membership scheme. This will allow members to recognise each other and businesses who are here to help. Businesses offering first class services and sales aftercare. Standing together and forming this Business Chamber, will allow the business community to flourish, without the aid of our scrupulous advisers.

 

 

Our first objective has begun, and the

construction of a committee to run the

chamber in place. As the new committee

members bring ideas to the table, we will grow, and reach out to everyone who wants to become involved in the Business Pages Business Chamber (BPBC).

 

 

Our next event is for Networking and will be held in October, we are expecting a turn out of 50+ businesses, from all over the island.

We have now even began to attract business owners from the North, who presently really do feel the need for this kind of development.

 

 

We welcome all, and look forward to the

prospects this innovative idea will bring, offering everyone the same opportunities no matter where you are from, whatever part of the globe.

 

 

We now have a fully qualified Spanish

A. IN REAL ESTATE IT SEEMS THAT THE COWBOYS ARE GONE ALTHOUGH SOME PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE HAD TO CLOSE THEIR BUSINESS DUE TO THE ECONOMICAL SITUATION. I THINK THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IN ANY BUSINESS IS TO GET CLIENTS.

EVERYBODY WANTS TO SELL, BUT NOBODY WANTS TO BUY ALTHOUGH THIS IS THE BEST MOMENT TO BUY AS OWNERS ARE GETTING A BIT MORE SENSIBLE WITH THEIR ASKING PRICE AND SOME "HAVE " TO SELL

 

 

 

Q. How do you see the future, what advice can you offer fellow business members?

 

 

A. GIVE SERVICE AND BE PROFESSIONAL.BUT MOST OF ALL BE POSITIVE AS PROBLEMS DON´T EXIST ONLY  SOLUTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER DON´T BE AFRAID TO ASK HELP. I THINK WE HAVE ANOTHER TOUGH YEAR IN FRONT OF US BUT WE HAVE TO BE POSITIVE AND NETWORKING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER. THIS IDEA WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN INTERESTING TO MOST PEOPLE A FEW YEARS AGO. NOW IT IS STICK TOGETHER OR DIE. WITH DIVINE ENERGY IT IS SOMETHING THAT EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT BUT NOBODY IS DOING IT, SO I THINK THERE IS A GREAT FUTURE FOR THIS. MOST IMPORTANT IS TO GIVE SERVICE. IF YOU GIVE SERVICE YOU WILL EARN MONEY, IF YOU JUST THINK OF THE MONEY YOU WILL GET NOTHING.

A.BPTENERIFE SEEMS TO BE A COMPANY WHO HAS THE DRIVE TO GO FORWARD AND ACCEPTS CRITICISM TO GET BETTER AND IMPROVE WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT WEBPAGE SEEMS A BIT TOO COMPLICATED FOR THE MOMENT, IT IS NOT THAT EASY TO FIND THE RIGHT COMPANY OR PERSON IMMEDIATELY.

 

 

 

 

Q. How do you see Tenerife's future as a whole?

 

 

A.IT IS ONLY BY GOING ABROAD THAT YOU REALISE ALL THE ADVANTAGES WE HAVE ON TENERIFE. IF WE HAVE IT DIFFICULT THAN YOU HAVE TO KNOW THAT OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS BUT IN THE RAIN. THERE IS STILL A LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND PEOPLE DO NOT TEND TO KEEP THEIR WORD WHICH MAKES IT SOMETIMES DIFFICULT TO DO BUSINESS. ON THE OTHER HAND EACH DAY OFF IS A HOLIDAY.William is now offering  B2B opportunities to all BPBC networking attendees.

New T.V. Show for Tenerife, staring the new M.D.

The new M.D. of Business Pages Tenerife is Hector Gonzolaz, he launches his new career with a brand new TV show.

Hector joined the company in May, and is taking the business in a new media direction.

 

 

 The new TV show will star the M.D. talking business with local entrepreneurs in Tenerife. Hector, already a well respected business man in Tenerife, will visit and interview local business owners collecting their thoughts on the economy today. He will be advising businesses on how to push and market their companies in a modern world.

 

We look forward to following his

adventures around the island, and how

receptive people are when meeting him.
