With the holiday season around the corner, Tenerife gears up for its mass of foreign visitors. The latest figures show tourism is up again on previous years, and owners of apartments and holiday lets are grinning eagerly awaiting their returns. The average 2 bed apartments have not only gained a steady 10- 15% property rise per annum, but also rake in the euros on all year round lets. With the Islands tourism marketing now aimed at middle aged couples with children, the buy to let option is more favorable than ever. A difference in cliental is now even more obvious , young couples tired of trying to gain access to the UK property ladder now favor the option of owning their first home overseas. With mortgages easier to obtain, and property prices more realistic, the average UK income can meet the requirements needed for financing homes abroad.
This then in turn offers a second income, providing the Banks in England a further option to consider when applying for a U.K. loan. The Real Estate Advisory is now offering mortgages up to 100% for residents, and 80% for none residents, with the correct advice, an investment abroad could soon be returning a second income, and a new home in the UK may not seem so far away

ONCE upon a time the only Britons heading for Spain were those who were planning to retire there. Not any more. Today, a growing number of younger people are moving to the country to set up their own businesses. Indeed, Spain is now one of the most popular places for people to launch their own start up.

Spanish property lawyer Mark Wilkins from The Rights Group SL has warned that, while more people from the UK and Germany want to retire to Spain, they may not have considered the costs.
